When God has spoken to you about where He wants you and what He is calling you to to do many voices will come your way.  A sign of Spiritual maturity is to take those voices to the Throne and allow The Lord to once again confirm your call and your direction.  Many people think that once God has set you on course all will be easy, but the truth is you will have to contend for the Promise.  While people may be well intentioned, God will speak to you first about where He is calling you and where He is taking you. He will use others to confirm and or encourage you. Since we live in the flesh there will be times when well intentioned people will give you bad advice.  A lot of times people live out of their soul, while the Lord may use them prophetically they are not fully receiving from the Spirit because they feel they know things. One example would be, God has called you to a ministry for the long haul and others see giftings in you, they may begin to tell you that the Lord is going to move you.  If this does not bear witness with your Spirit, reject it.  A sign of Spiritual Maturity is being rooted and grounded in what God has said.  Many times man does not understand what God has told you.  Personal Relationship is intimate and when you are in true intimacy the Lover of Your Soul does not share the secrets He told you with others.  Bottom line, when the Lord has given you instruction or a promise do not entertain the voices. You have a receiver, you can activate it or deactivate it.  If something causes confusion take it to the throne and get confirmation.  In order to fulfill your promise and purpose in Christ you will have to be singleminded, unwavering and determined no matter what man thinks.

Honor seems to be a dirty word in the church. When was the last time you heard a preaching on honor in the church building you attend? Its right up there with the Holy Spirit, Speaking in tongues and the Return of Christ, you just don’t hear much about it.  I am on a mission to bring awareness to the Bride about honor. I can just hear the Pastors and Leaders now saying, yeah girl tell them. Except honor is an equal opportunity requirement from God. Yes, we should honor our Pastors and Leaders but they are also required to give honor. In fact, if you are in any position of leadership, you should be the first to set the example. It is clear through scripture that honor will bring a generational blessing into your life. And the opposite is also true, a lack of honor will bring a generational curse.  All you have to do is look at King Saul and his family and you will see that. We read many stories in the Bible where people opened themselves up to the consequence of the lack of honor.  Such an example is  when Miriam was bad mouthing Moses and the Lord struck her with leprosy…….The sin was a lack of honor. I once had a Pastor that showed a lack of honor for everyone and every year the face of his church changes…..meaning he is always starting over.  Its a cycle that will not be broken until honor is restored. Many of us are not walking in the Prophetic Promises we have been given because of the lack of honor we show our parents, our Leaders, our children, our husbands, our wives and or our employers. Honor is very important to God in Romans 12:9-10, God puts it like this  Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. Love each other with genuine affection and take delight in honoring each other. Selah (Stop and calmly think about that)

Do you ever wonder what the proper way to worship is. We see so many displays of worship and some of them may make us feel uncomfortable. Expressives feel just as uncomfortable when they see people worshipping quietly. The reality is that you are required to offer up your true, authentic worship. Whatever is coming straight from your heart and in love and adoration for the Lord is proper worship. In other words some people dance, some stand, some sit, some kneel, some yell, some cry, some whisper, God is looking at your heart and what is authentic adoration. He loves that He created His sons and daughters differently and He loves our authenticity.  One of the sure earmarks of “Religion” is making us think that we all have to be the same.  Think about it, isn’t that why the Pharisees were upset with Jesus because He dared to heal on the Sabbath while the Pharisees were fasting but not wanting to see someone healed. The Body of Christ would be more powerful and useful at winning the lost if they did not have a preconceived idea about how things need to be. We have to submit our flesh to God because anything that is not spirit is flesh. Any house of worship that does not promote and encourage authenticity is not letting the spirit of God reign.  Where the spirit of the Lord is………..their is Freedom.  There is no right or wrong, just different expressions. Man looks on the outward appearance but the Lord always looks at the heart!!!!!!

A religious mindset is one of the greatest hindrances to walking in the supernatural. The definition of Religious; is having or showing a devotion to a God or a Deity. Extremely scrupulous  or conscientious; religious devotion to duty. Jesus came to this earth 100% man and 100% God so that we would get to know Him and  the personality of the Father and the Holy Spirit and enter into relationship with them. They are one.  When you have a true intimate relationship with your parents or your husband/wife you do not have to be performance oriented or keep a bunch of rules so they can love you and approve of you. Such is the relationship we should have with Father, Son and Holy Spirit. As you get to know them better you begin to realize that they are not of this world and are not bound to the laws of this world. I am so baffled by an entire group of Christians that do not believe in everything the Bible says and make accusations about Apostles, Prophets, Evangelist, Pastors and Teachers simply because they are able to see in the Spirit, experience Angelic visitations and speak of the freedom that there in Christ Jesus.  Religion is bondage, it will keep you from Freedom. The word of God says where the Spirit of the Lord is there is Freedom (2nd Corinthians 3:17).  I want to encourage you today, if you want to live a Supernatural life ask Father God to examine your heart and to remove any religion that you may have in you. Can you imagine loving your kids only when they perform well? Or not allowing them the freedom to think? The Lord left us a beautiful love letter, 66 books packed with truth. The more you read those letters the more you will know Father, Son and Holy Spirit and the more you will begin to understand the Supernatural. Don’t Judge what you don’t understand. Honor those that love God and point us to Jesus. In Luke 9:49 John tells Jesus Master, we saw someone casting out demons in your name but we forbade them because he does not follow us. Jesus replied “Do not forbid him, for He who is not against us is on our side”.  The enemy of our soul wants to keep us blinded by religion but the lover of our soul came to set us free. He came that we might have life and have it more abundantly (John 10:10).

Something To Ponder Today…………….For years the enemy has been subtle about infiltrating Gods Church with lies. One of the biggest ones is that if you have been called to the Fivefold Ministry as outlined in Ephesians 4:11 -13, you need to wait until other people call you by that name.  There is a train of thought that your identity is validated when others tell you who you are.  But Psalm 139:16 says that God saw your unformed body and all the days ordained for you were written in Gods book before one came to be. This means that before you were born you were called.  John 10:27 says Gods sheep hear his voice, I know them and they follow me.  These words I am quoting are written in the Bible which is the Constitution of the Kingdom of God.  If we can hear the voice of God and He called us before we were even formed, why would we have to wait for man to call us something that Father, Son and Holy Spirit has been calling us?  Once the King tells us, He will send us to sit under those that teach us and equip us, He will confirm to you and lead you.  You do not need to keep it a secret.  If the Lord directs you to state who you are, you need to do just that.  The Enemy of our soul has convinced Religious folks to tell the church this lie because he does not want you to know your own Identity.  Really think about this………..I dare to say the religious folk need to repent (turn away and align their thoughts with Gods) of ever saying this to the body of Christ.  If you know you are an Apostle, Prophet or and Evangelist the last thing that Satan wants you to do is have you tell anyone because he knows the more you say I am a Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist the more you will start acting like one.  The enemy is a Legalist his job is to keep us from knowing our true Identity.  We are a Royal Priesthood!!!  He is the father of all lies that is why he likes to make us feel that if we walk in what the Lord is calling us to walk in, that makes us arrogant. The truth is that saying who you are proves to the Lord you have faith to believe what He himself has called you to.   And as a result He will empower you to walk in the power and authority of your calling.  When you walk in it, is when others will call you that. But their will always be an unbelieving generation who will try to squelch your calling as the Bible says the Wheat and the Chaff grow together. A citizen of the Kingdom is never  afraid to be who The King of Kings created them to be.

Something To Ponder Today……….Whatever you sit under will eventually come upon you.  Since the Gospel of the Kingdom has been distorted, people have been taught to believe that change is a bad thing. I will be honest, even I have judged when someone has changed churches. But the truth is that if you are sitting under a Pastor or Pastors that are not healthy it will roll down to you. It is a principal that everything flows from the head. In a Church Building or in a Ministry whatever the the head does (meaning the Leaders), does will flow down to those sitting under their teaching and their influence. With this in mind it is extremely important where you decide to plant yourself.  You will not be able to get filled at a conference and bring it back to your church unless you are in Leadership in the church. It is like the law of gravity, things don’t fall up, they fall down. So for example, if your leader is always planning things at the last minute…….you will find that all those under that Leadership will do things at the last minute. Which is really a Leader saying, your time is not important.  If your Leader is manipulative and controlling, you will find those under that Leader will be manipulative and controlling which opens the door for witchcraft to operate in your life. That kind of soil never advances. Being the head of anything is extremely important and should be taken seriously because what you do will flow down to those that follow you. If you find yourself sitting under unhealthy Leadership and it makes you uncomfortable MOVE. You are in charge of your Spiritual Growth and you will not grow hearing the same thing over and over year after year. Read the word, pray and ask God for direction. You don’t have to feel stuck and frustrated there is more. The Gospel of the Kingdom is about Invading, Occupying and Taking Dominion not about being a spectator.

Something to Ponder Today………Apostle John Eckhardts says that God is restoring the Apostolic Church. I could not agree with him more. The Lord is causing those that have been called to the fivefold ministry to come out of their caves and rise up, but not everyone is responding to Gods call.  I know someone that is called to be an Apostle but he is not walking in it. One evening I had a conversation with him about Apostles and he stated “The Apostles got killed, I don’t want that”. That is a religious mind set. America is not suffering persecution at this time so he was being a bit dramatic.  What he was missing is that the death the Father requires if you are going to answer the Apostolic call, is a death to your flesh. The process that God will take you through will be one of dying to self.  You will have to give up your own agenda for Gods agenda.  You will have to take great risk and begin to move in the direction that an Apostolic church moves in.  The body of Christ is missing it. The reason why the church has been not been effective is because the breaker anointing flows through an Apostolic church.  While we are busy coming up with ways to enlarge our churches we have lost sight of changing the world.  If you are called to the fivefold ministry you must answer the call. First, by saying yes Lord and second, by laying your flesh on the altar and letting all your ideas burn.  I truly believe that God is waiting on Body of Christ. I encourage you Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers come forth.

1 Corinthians 3:18  Do not deceive yourselves if you think you are wise by the standards of this age, you should become “fools” so that you may become wise.

Something To Ponder Today…………..When God has called you and set you apart there is a hunger in you that can’t seem to be quenched. This may cause people to look at you funny. They may wonder why you are going to conferences and listen to great men and women of God they have barely heard of.  The local church is great but unfortunately, the American church is pursuing growth rather than presence. Those of us that are hungry need to continue on with our hot Pursuit of presence. Programs are not going to win over this generation only the power of Gods presence will do that. I think of great men and women of God  like Bill Johnson, Roland and Heidi Baker, Joseph Garlington, Tom Jones and many, many more that pressed in and went to the Toronto Revival where a hungry Pastor, John  Arnott invited Pastor Randy Clark for a four meetings which turned into an explosion.  This revival lasted 2 decades. The Hungry ones I mentioned above have great ministries today including Randy Clark. Don’t let anyone stop you from the pursuit to satisfy the hunger God has put in you. They had a team of 45 in Toronto. You see we are not going to turn this world upside down until we realize it is about the body of Christ laying down their agendas and unsuccessful programs and begin to pursue and partner with God. If you are hungry and you need to chase God until you receive all He has for you so that you can serve Him well.  Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is absolute freedom. God is waiting for you to pursue Him like Actors pursue fame, Guaranteed you will not experience any rejection from Him along the way. You may experience rejection, anger and all kinds of weird behaviors from man but that is a small inconvenience. I have been delivered from the approval of man. I encourage you to do the same.

Something To Ponder Today…….Many people in the body of Christ have been wounded in a church and sadly, they begin to doubt or misunderstand the word of God.  We must understand that many people (even in Leadership) hurt people, because hurting people hurt people.  We must take these hurts and disappointments to the Lord and allow him to heal us.  The church “which is the People” should not allow themselves to stay wounded. God sent his son not just so that are sins could be forgiven but also so that we would be healed of every hurt.  There are times when we simply have to get in the secret place and say Lord heal me.  Don’t let me have a heart of stone. Give me a heart of flesh that is open to letting go and letting God!!!!

Exodus 36:26  I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.
